Item Description:
A good condition antique brass microscope sold by the Cuthbert Corporation in 1937. This instrument includes its original resale documentation and correspondence between the Cuthbert Corporation and its prospective buyer dating from September 28 to December 31, 1937. The scans of this correspondence have been included below for your convenience.
The instrument itself is in good shape, though it is missing one objective which at some point was swapped with an alternate from a different brand. The original manufacturer of the microscope is unknown as there is no discernible maker's mark.
