Item Description:
A beautiful and quite rare microscope produced by Joseph Long some time in the mid-19th century. The microscope features an unusual tripod design with the manufacturer's mark located at its base. At least one of the objectives bears the mark of R & J. Beck, another contemporary British microscope producer during the 19th century.
