A fair condition Bausch & Lomb antique brass microscope, which, based on its serial number (194271), was likely made some time in the mid-1920s. Inscribed on the front of the tube is "M. R. H. 271," likely marked by the institution it was originally purchased by. On the rear of the arm is the patent date for the microscope design, 5 January 1915.
