A good condition and unusual design antique Reichert microscope likely produced around the early 1900s (1900-1909) based on its serial number (33836). Specifically, the handle configuration built into the back of the tube is quite unique for a microscope of this type. Notably, the back of the base is also inscribed with "J.T. Dougherty - Representant for U.St.A. One of the objectives is a replacement built by Spencer, a contemporary American brand.
